Teri Bordenave, Interim Executive Director

Teri BordenaveThe Trustees of the Frost Place are very pleased to announce the appointment of Teri Bordenave (pronounced Bor-de-náh-vay) as Interim Executive Director. Teri has worked in the nonprofit sector since 1979 in a variety of senior leadership roles and as a consultant.

For twenty years, Teri served as President/CEO of Girls Incorporated of the Greater Capital Region in New York, during which time the organization saw unprecedented growth. Teri’s experience as a trustee on both local and national governing boards, plus her 20 years as a non-profit CEO, gives her a unique perspective and much expertise in the areas of effective governance and management including strategic planning, organizational development, change management, team building, leadership development, strategic restructuring, and relationship building. Throughout her career, Teri has been a successful change agent. Teri also has a deep appreciation for and a background in the arts.

During her time with the Frost Place, Teri will build on the work done by the Trustees and prior leadership, focusing on strengthening the organization, its fundraising, planning, policies and systems.

“We are delighted to welcome Teri to the Frost Place and look forward to working with her as we continue to move this organization forward,” says Deming Holleran, Chair of the Board of Trustees. “The Board believes that she is the right choice for the Frost Place at this point in time and that she will be a catalyst for further changes needed to strengthen the organization and to help us realize our mission of honoring Robert Frost’s poetic legacy and preserving his Franconia home.”
