Michael Klein’s latest book is When I Was a Twin, poetry and prose. He is a five-time Lambda Literary Award finalist and won the award twice, for Poets for Life: 76 Poets Respond to AIDS and his first book of poems, 1990, which tied with James Schuyler to win the award in 1993. His two books of prose are Track Conditions and The End of Being Known, both published by the University of Wisconsin Press. He is a long-time member of the MFA in Writing Program faculty at Goddard College in Vermont and is also teaching at Hunter College in New York.
