Saturday & Sunday, March 12 & 13, 2022, 10-3 p.m. ET, each day, with a Saturday evening participant reading, via Zoom
Dawn Potter, instructor
In this weekend gathering, we’ll be focusing on the work of a number of twentieth-century Polish poets, including Milosz, Herbert, and Szymborska, with a particular focus on how they address issues of national and individual identity at moments of great turmoil and distress. Writing prompts will link our larger discussions to our own personal lives.
This online weekend session is open to anyone, working at any level, who is eager for conversation and deep engagement. The sessions will include generous writing time, an afternoon revision workshop, and an evening poetry reading for participants.
Cost: $200. Class size is limited to 12 participants. Educators will receive 10 continuing education credits. All reading materials will be provided.
