Conference on Poetry and Teaching Details

During the Conference on Poetry and Teaching, faculty poets will present techniques for teaching, revising, and assessing poetry, both creatively and analytically. Participants will engage in exercises and discussions that illuminate specific elements of craft and pedagogy. Each day includes (1) a segment in which participants share their own teaching strategies, (2) an opportunity to write poems under the guidance of the faculty poets, (3) a poetry reading followed by a Q & A session.
